- Balanced 2021-22 city budget after inheriting a $2M shortfall
- Settled property dispute with Ausland family to begin water treatment plant project
- Passed code amendment to require more fire-resistant construction in urban-wildland interface
- Established stable funding source to incentivize affordable housing projects (Construction Excise Tax)
- Approved code requiring medium- and high-density residential zones be built out to at least 60% density
- Created City Sustainability and Energy Task Force to review city operations
- Saved water customers from two planned rate increases by using $3M of federal ARPA funds
- Revised municipal code to allow social services in the general commercial zone (with exclusions)
- Supported establishment of Destination Marketing Organization to manage tourism marketing for the city
- Working diligently on formation of an urban campground (ETA late 2022)
- Working to establish downtown restroom facilities (ETA late 2022)
- Working to replace our municipal outdoor swimming pool (Caveman Pool)
District 7 School Board
- Installed HVAC systems at schools that did not have modern systems
- Upgraded all lighting in the district to high-efficiency LED
- Provided free school supplies for elementary & middle school students
- Reduced fees for sports and extracurricular programs
- Reduced fees for volunteer program
- Advocating for agriculture program at the high school
- Advocating for a more robust outdoor school program at middle schools
- Advocating for an electric bus pilot program
